The lung screening program is a national leader in lung cancer screening research.

Its principal investigator, Dr. Luis Seijo, is currently coordinator for lung cancer strategic plpanning for CIBERES, a network of spanish centers of excellence affiliated with Spain’s instituto de salud Carlos III.

Our program is affiliated with the IELCAP international cohort with more than 15 years of experience in lung cancer screening.

Lung screening program researchers are currently involved in multiple national and international research initiatives involving lung cancer research, including links between COPD and lung cancer, sleep disordered breathing and pulmonary malignancies, lung cancer screening and diagnosis.
